Krish Tandon is a high school student at Adani International School, Ahmedabad, where he studies Biology, Chemistry, English Language, and Pure Mathematics as part of the Cambridge A-Level curriculum. On the academic side, Krish is interested in studying developmental economics, applied math and environmental action; more specifically how urban systems can be designed in better, more sustainable ways for different communities. Over the years, this interest is something he has built through both theoretical learning and practical experiences including his participation in the Climate Academy at school, where he studied climate science and environmental policy; alongside mathematical modelling projects examining real-world environmental challenges through the International Mathematical Modeling Challenge.
Outside of class, Krish is an active public speaker, Model United Nations participant and chair, student leader, and drummer. Whether representing environmental issues through UNEP committees, serving as Amber House Captain, or leading collaborative school initiatives, he has consistently enjoyed bringing people together around meaningful causes. For him, environmental sustainability is not only about policy or infrastructure, but also about creating practical solutions that improve everyday life for everyday people. Through CityHacks Collective, Krish hopes to encourage people to see that even small, but consistent and aware initiatives, can contribute towards greener, healthier, and more resilient cities, one ‘city-hack’ at a time.
